| OUR MINISTRY
New Beginning was founded in 1994 by Pastors Charles and Ann Leister. After pastoring on the road in Cleveland, Ohio and Plain City, Ohio working to establish two new works, God placed within Pastor Charles the vision for a new ministry in their home city of Columbus, Ohio. The vision of New Beginning was to establish a local assembly and ministries that ministered to the total person the Word of God thereby proclaiming the good news that one can have a new beginning in Christ Jesus, our Lord. New Beginning was originally established under the covering of the Church of the Living God, headquarted in Philidelphia. However from the beginning, the Leadership of New Beginning knew that the type of ministry God was birthing was requiring us to be non-denominational. In September 1999, New Beginning Church of the Living God became New Beginning Ministries. The following year after building a relationship with Apostle La Fayette Scales came under his apostolic covering for accountability. As Apostle Scales and the Apostolic Team of the Network of Local Churches lauched a new association of local assemblies, New Beginning became a member at its formal organization in August 2001. The Network of Local Churches, Inc. is a fellowship of non-denominational and denominational churches with a main objective of providing covenant relationship for Pastors, Five-Fold Ministers, and Churches. We also desire to train, equip and encourage the edifying of the Body of Christ.

OUR PASTORS
Ann Leister gave her life to the Lord in 1966 and was called to the ministry in 1976. She stands firm on the Word of God and how He has delivered her from sin. Preaching that Jesus is still setting people free today. Ann was ordained in 1982 and assigned to the Evangelist Board of the Church of the Living God. Pastor Ann has served in many capacities within the church in the choir, Sunday school, missionary departments, and district elder. Her ministry is especially to the broken hearted and those rejected by others.
Charles Leister acknowledged the call of the Lord to serve in the ministry at the age of twelve. His life's goal was to serve the Lord and His people according to this calling. Charles received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1974 and began preaching the gospel in 1975. He was ordained in 1981 and assigned as pastor of Christ the King, CLG in Cleveland, Ohio from 1982 through 1991. In 1991, he was assigned to pastor Plain City, CLG. Pastor Leister has served in the National Youth Congress, CLG as treasurer, vice-president, and president from 1983 through 1993.
Pastors Charles & Ann Leister have ministered throughout the United States, Europe, and South America. Married since 1975, they have two sons, Jason Timothy and Joseph Robert.
God has put them together from different backgrounds yet being predestined to do His will. According to the purpose and destiny He has invested in their lives as He declared before the worlds were formed. He has called both of them to the ministry to proclaim that Jesus gives all who desire the free gift of a new beginning bringing about a change in one's life.
